Dr. André Erlank
MBChB, CCFP, MMed (Skin Cancer)
Dr. André Erlank is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer. Dr. Erlank obtained his medical degree through the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2005. In 2009 he relocated from South Africa to Canada and started to work as a General Practitioner in Quesnel, British Columbia.
Dr. Erlank’s extra focus on Dermatology and Skin Cancer started in 2015 and he obtained Diploma’s in Dermatology and Dermoscopy and completed his Masters (MMed) in Skin Cancer (2018) since then.
In the summer of 2016 Dr. Erlank and his family relocated to Victoria where they enjoy the outdoors. Dr. Erlank enjoys running, biking, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dr. J.J. Le Roux
MBChB, CCFP, MMed (Skin Cancer)
Dr. J.J. Le Roux is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 1989. In 1992 he relocated to Canada, where he worked in rural BC as a General Practitioner.
Dr. Le Roux has been focused on Dermatology and Aesthetic medicine for the past 15 years and completed his Masters Degree (MMed) in Skin Cancer in 2018.
Dr. Le Roux relocated with his family to Victoria in the summer of 2017. He enjoys mountain biking, trail running and endurance sports.

Dr. Gordon McLean
MBCHB, CCFP, Adv Cert. Skin Cancer & Dermoscopy
Dr Gordon McLean is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. He obtained his medical degree through the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 2008. After 5 years of general practice in South Africa he relocated to Canada in 2013. He worked for 7yrs practicing rural ER and Family Medicine in Alberta before relocating to Victoria, BC in 2020.
During his years as a General Practitioner he has been pursuing a side interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and since 2016 has been obtaining extra certification and experience in the field.
He is currently completing his Masters (MMed) in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland, Australia. Dr McLean is extremely excited to focus the remainder of his career on this field of medicine.
When not busy with work and studies, Dr McLean enjoys leading an active lifestyle and exploring the great outdoors with his wife and two young sons.
They feel extremely blessed to be able to call the island home.

Dr. Lana Wicentovich
MD, CCFP, DipPDerm, FCFP
Dr. Lana Wicentovich is a Family Medicine Specialist with a practice focus in Dermatology. After completing a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Molecular Biology at the University of Calgary, she went onto the University of Manitoba to complete her medical degree in 2001. She specialized in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Postgraduate education included a Practical Diploma in Dermatology with distinction from Cardiff University in 2014. She is a fellow with the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and has been an assistant clinical professor with the University of Alberta. She currently sits on the board for the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada.
Dr. Wicentovich currently provides Focused Skin Cancer care in Victoria, BC. She is currently starting some additional training, working towards her Masters in Skin Cancer.
Dr. Wicentovich’s other calling in life has been as a mother of only boys. Now teenagers and adventurers, she is kept on her toes, and off the grid, exploring the backcountry of Canada by foot or by canoe, with her three sons and husband.

Dr. Ashleigh Vallée
BSc MA MD CCFP DipPDerm
Dr. Ashleigh Vallée is a Family Medicine Specialist with a focus in Practical Dermatology. She received her a Bachelor of Science with Distinction and Master of Arts from the University of Victoria. She was awarded the prestigious Humanities Research Council Scholarship for her graduate research. She earned her Medical Degree from the University of Calgary in 2018, and she completed Family Medicine Residency through the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2020. She is now a Clinical Instructor with UBC, and she is passionate about medical research and education. Her early career involved primary care and procedural medicine, and she received the Janus Award from the Foundation for Advancing Family Medicine. After several years of practice, Dr. Vallée obtained a Post-graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction, as well as certifications in Dermoscopy, from Cardiff University. She is currently completing the Master of Medicine in Skin Cancer through the University of Queensland. Dr. Vallée is committed to achieving excellence in her procedural practice and enjoys working with patients to improve the health and appearance of their skin.
When not busy with clinical work and education, Dr. Vallée enjoys exploring Vancouver Island with her husband and their yellow lab, Sadie.
